What's it all about?

At a Business Coaching Day (BCD), you'll connect one-on-one with Entrepreneurs in Training (EITs) who are building their futures through Defy's CEO of Your New Life program.

Volunteers help EITs:

• Polish their resumes and personal statements

• Refine early business ideas

• Build confidence through connection and conversation

The day includes energizing icebreakers and empathy-building moments that foster real human connection. Your support boosts EITs' self-esteem and motivation as they take bold steps toward a new chapter.

• Location: York Correctional Institution - Niantic, CT

• Transportation: The prison is 114 miles and approximately 2.5 hours from Midtown Manhattan

  • Defy Bus - Departing from Midtown Manhattan @ 6:30 am, returning @ ~6:30 pm

  • Drive Self - Arrive at Prison @ 9 am
