8/8/20 How Defy Supporters Can Maximize Fair and Second Chances in Today’s Society

Location: Virtual. Link will be sent after registration.

Purpose: Through this special session with Defy Graduate and author, Ed Kressy, you’ll learn to take your volunteer efforts to a new level. Ed will read from his new book, My Addiction & Recovery: Just Because You’re Done with Drugs, Doesn’t Mean Drugs are Done with You. The book inspires the reader with possibilities for second chances and achieving dreams.

You’ll learn how you can carry forward Ed’s simple yet powerful message: Second chances benefit the giver as much as the receiver (if not more so). You’ll also learn how you can take meaningful action to exponentially increase your contributions to second chances in America.

Ed Kressy is a member of Defy's Board of Advisors, Northern California Chapter. His articles have appeared in The Washington Post and many other publications. Ed’s work with Defy earned him personal recognition from FBI Director Christopher Wray, with Wray’s 2018 Director’s Community Leadership Award. This from a person (Ed) who was once arrested by the FBI!
